BURST Oral Care is a Venice, CA based oral health brand rewriting what it means to care for your teeth. Launched in 2017, BURST pioneered a direct-to-consumer subscription model that delivers high-performance sonic toothbrushes and oral care products at accessible price points without sacrificing clinical credibility. Unlike mass-market competitors, every BURST product is co-created with an ambassador network of 40,000+ dental professionals, giving the brand an authenticity and scientific rigor that big-box brands simply cannot replicate. The work centered on translating that bold, community-driven identity into a cohesive visual language across every touchpoint.

Serving as Senior Designer, the role touched every corner of the BURST brand. From architecting the Amazon presence through A+ Assets, Image Stacks, and Storefront design, to leading motion design on the BURST Pro 2.0 Sonic Toothbrush, the work was as varied as it was impactful. The Pro 2.0's animated LED screen, developed in direct partnership with the product team, became the flagship of the toothbrush lineup and its top revenue driver. Rounding out the role was full creative oversight of social media, paid social, and the ambassador program.

Small Mouths, Big Smiles

BURSTkids is where clinical meets colorful. Designed for toddlers through pre-teens, this vibrant sub-brand takes everything parents trust about BURST and wraps it in the kind of energy kids can get excited about. Soft-grip sonic toothbrushes in pink, blue, and purple. Strawberry Flossables with smiley face handles. Clean, delicious toothpastes with zero filler. Every product is dentist and hygienist approved, because healthy habits should start early and brushing time should never feel like a battle.

Beyond the brief

Every brand has a turning point where its visuals catch up with its ambition. For BURST, this was part of that journey. A fully built Amazon storefront gave the brand a premium digital home to match its premium products. A Walmart expansion brought BURST into living rooms across the country, backed by retail creative designed to stand out on a shelf. Social media work across paid campaigns and the ambassador program kept the brand loud, warm, and unmistakably BURST. And then there was the Pro 2.0. The motion design developed for its animated LED screen became more than a design detail. It became a product feature, one compelling enough to make the Pro 2.0 the highest-revenue toothbrush in the entire lineup. That is the kind of design work that does not just support a brand. It moves it forward.
