The scope of this project centered on a comprehensive digital refresh of the Criss Angel brand presence on Amazon, reimagining how one of entertainment's most iconic identities could speak to a broader, multi-generational audience without losing the edge that made it legendary. The work began in the concepting phase, where the existing brand identity was carefully examined and evolved. Rather than a complete overhaul, the approach was strategic refinement: preserving the dark, electrifying DNA of MINDFREAK while modernizing its visual language to feel current, accessible, and compelling across all age groups.
From concept to execution, the full suite of Amazon brand assets was built out from the ground up. This included storefront design, A+ content modules, product listing imagery, brand story layouts, and promotional banners, each crafted to deliver a cohesive and immersive brand experience. The central challenge of this project was threading the needle between legacy and evolution. The MINDFREAK brand carries decades of cultural weight and a passionate fanbase with strong expectations. Modernizing the visual identity meant making deliberate, considered creative decisions that could satisfy long-time fans while opening the door to new audiences, including younger shoppers and families discovering the brand for the first time. Layered on top of that was the technical challenge of working within Amazon's platform constraints, designing assets that felt premium and custom while adhering to the specific dimensions, formats, and content guidelines the marketplace requires.
The final designs proved that a legacy brand, when handled with both reverence and creative courage, can scale powerfully in the digital marketplace. Across every Amazon touchpoint, from the storefront hero imagery down to the smallest A+ content module, the refreshed Criss Angel visual system maintained its integrity and impact at every size and format. The cohesive design language translated seamlessly across the full range of Amazon assets, ensuring that whether a shopper encountered the brand through a product listing, a promotional banner, or the full storefront experience, the MINDFREAK identity came through with the same unmistakable force. The result was a brand presence that looked as commanding on a mobile screen as it did on desktop, purpose-built for the platform and undeniably Criss Angel.
